AVA Awards Honor JBM Media Services-Produced Video with Gold
(Jan. 22, 2012, Syracuse, New York) -– JBM Media Services has won a 2011 AVA Gold Award in the pro bono category and honorable mention recognition in the international competition's streaming video category. The Syracuse-based multi-media development firm produced the award-winning 3-minute, 33 second online video to promote a series of yoga classes presented by 100 Black Men of Syracuse, Inc. in the summer of 2011.
The AVA Gold Award is presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals to those entries that exceed industry norms. About 1,700 AVA Award entries were received throughout the United States and several other countries. The video produced by JBM Media Services can be viewed on YouTube at http://youtu.be/Dr_XYZwRQO0.

The AVA Awards recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Entries range from audio and video productions to websites that present video, animation, blogs, podcasts and social media sites. administered and judged by AMCP. The international organization consists of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and freelance professionals. AMCP administers recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service.
